BISHOP WILD BIRD SANCTUARY     12408 Coldstream Creek Road      542-5122

This semi-private sanctuary was established by Miss Lydia Bishop, a long-time resident of Coldstream, for the benefit of wild creatures and for the education and enjoyment of small groups. Well over 100 species of wild birds have visited the sanctuary in season. And trees of various species have been planted along the guided trail system set on over four acres.

The Wild Bird Sanctuary is just a very short walk from Mackie Lake House. If you would like to include a visit to the Sanctuary as part of your Mackie Lake House fieldtrip  please make separate arrangements with the manager, Mr. Erin Nelson.
